2021 Focus st line ecoblue 1.5L diesel, wet belt?

Featured Replies

How’s things everyone I’m just getting on to see what type of belt my 2021 focus 1.5L diesel ecoblue has as I’m seeing lots of different things about it having a wet belt but also that it has a normal timing belt so any help would be appreciated

1.5 EcoBlue never had a wetbelt.  They all have a dry belt.

But they also have a small chain between the two camshafts that breaks regularly.  The chain was upgraded to a thicker one in 2022.
