Fiesta red edition rear disfuser

Featured Replies

Hi guys new here. I have a fiesta red edition. Currently has mountune mr165 and full st seats ( bought it like this )

Little history, i did not want an st I just wanted a cheap £20 road car with a little go in it. Was after the 140 but managed to find this nice example with the tune and seats.

I am really struggling to find an ST look rear disfuser to fit. Do I need to change full bumper or is there an add on. I have seen some on puma speed but its 2 part and and a bit pricey.

Hi Mark.

No, it just replaces the existing one. The OE item is in 2 parts as advertised by Pumaspeed, though can be found used on EBay etc.  Aftermarket versions can also be found.

The slight complication is it has a cut-out for twin pipes which looks a bit odd.  So you need a twin outlet. Some have used an ST back box with a reducer, an aftermarket box, or just a twin tailpipe trim.

This is a very common query on here, several threads on it eg:

Thanks Eric. This is the trouble I am having. I cannot seem to find any aftermarket versions that fit a zetec. Do you have any links or guide me right direction. Did not really want to go as far to pay the price on pumaspeed.

The ST diffusers or aftermarket versions just replace the standard diffuser as in the linked thread. You won't find find that all suppliers specifically say "fits Zetec S or whatever", though these two do, for example. I'm sure you can find others with a bit of Googling:

https://www.triplercomposites.com/product-page/fiesta-mk7-5-zs-st180-rear-diffuser

https://www.extremestyledesign.com/products/ford-fiesta-mk7-5-st-zetec-s-rear-diffuser-es-design

At the end of the day, whatever you choose is a pretty pricey mod that is purely cosmetic, and the aftermarket stuff is not much cheaper than the genuine part as sold by Pumaspeed and others.

Btw, your car would be due for a change of wet cambelt and oil pump belt if it hasn't already been done.

Yes mate i know that is on my list before anything else, its off road at min untill wife can drive again, using her car.

Anoyjng thing is they are quite nice cars but the back end is such a let down. I have seen loads on ebay for £100 but it states they fit the st only.

Thanks for all your help tho I will check them links out.
