My 95 Escort LX with 1.9Liter engine with auto transmission is stuck from start to stop in 2nd gear. When I put the shifter down to 1st going up or coming down it will use 1st gear... but without moving it off Drive, it stays in 2nd. Any help out there? Am I toast??? Thanks for any suggestions.
