14 Fiesta SE hatchback. Won't start.

Featured Replies

Okay my vehicle is a 2014 Ford fiesta se hatchback 1.6 l.

kay so let me start off by saying as I would drive around town occasionally the vehicle would turn off let's say at a light or stop sign I'd attempt to turn it back on with the key and it wouldn't turn back on so therefore I had been getting out of the vehicle opening the hood pulling out the starter relay and with a wire jumping it to start the vehicle that way cuz it would start that way I guess I done that one too many times and when I went to pull the starter relay out this time it broke off halfway in halfway out so the vehicle attempted to start for about 10 to 15 seconds before I was able to fully remove the relay so with that relay broken I pulled out the relay that was in the high beams put it in that and attempted to start the vehicle with no avail...

At this point the vehicle was telling me engine malfunction service now in the center dashboard as well as I noticed that I no longer heard the fuel priming when I put the key in the second position on.

With that being said I thought it was the fuel pump so I've replaced the fuel pump and I still no longer hear the fuel priming when the key is in the second position on and as I attempted to start the vehicle it wants to start it cranks but it just will not start I'm assuming because of a fuel issue maybe.

Now with the fuel pump replaced the codes that I am getting are.

p0884

p06b8

p0607l

As well as I am still receiving the engine malfunction service now notification in the center dashboard.

Just replaced fuel pump.

In addition, I would like to add. Important! I ***** up and broke the bolt off in the hole designed for the ground, so I had to screw the bolt out, and replace it with much larger bolt, it's all tight and looks good though. Will attach pics as soon as I can..

I really would like to get my car running again if there's anything anyone knows or some insight or thoughts on this please please please respond and help me out with this I'm stumped.

However I'm not anything of a mechanic whatsoever I was reading on some other forums that I may need to reflash the PCM I do have a little bit of knowledge of Forscan because of this Ford purchase, I tell ya what tho I probably will never get a Ford again though.

Again if anyone knows anything or has any thoughts or insight please get back to me and I would greatly greatly appreciate it thank you.

I will try and get a pic of the batter terminal grounded . Battery was bought in March.
