Mk7 fiesta 1.4 diesel

Featured Replies

Hi need some help

I’ve got a 1.4 diesel fiesta mk7 2009 it had a faulty injector number 4 which got changed then the return fuel line snapped which then got replaced as it there was not fuel pressure on injector 4 Because of the broken return line then came to turn it on and nothing wouldn’t start as was only getting low fuel pressure and fuel to injector 4 not in 3,2or 1 for some reason then we have changed the filter and fuel sensor as thought it might be those is why it’s not getting the right pressure then we replaced the fuel pump as in wasn’t priming and now it’s all changed it’s still not priming/ working and there is no codes on the dashboard and still not starting

it feels like it wants to start but nothing happens

any suggestions what it could be

Hi,

These don't have an electric tank pump.  It won't prime itself.  You need to manually prime it with a hand pump.  The earlier 1.4's had a handpump in the engine bay, but I don't think that was still fitted by 2009.
