its a style, never heard of it before lol

The 'Style' was the entry level model so came with very little in the way of creature comforts. Unfortunately the BCM, and IPC, will be unlikely to support additional features.

On the plus side, if you have a drivers seat and a steering wheel, you at least know the original owner paid for the drivers convenience pack ! 🤣

At various times it was one up from entry level. sometimes there was a "Studio" model which came with even less!

"Style" was quite a long running model, which survived into the Mk 8 generation, though in the end "Trend" was the entry level.

Ah yes !!!

I forgot with that model you couldn't even get the option of a drivers seat and steering wheel 🤣

Haha, as long as it’s cheap to run I’m happy.

This sounds a silly question.

When checking the engine oil level on the 1.5 tdci engine leave the engine to cool on level ground, remove dipstick, wipe excess, reinsert into tube all the way to the bottom it goes almost to the bottom freely then has to be pushed a little over the rubber o ring, remove again to read the level?

I’m asking as this Fiesta and the previous one (both 1.5 tdci) that I had to return a few weeks back had both recently been serviced but when I checked the dipstick both were reading a little bit over the top limit on oil level.

Is it a coincidence that both have been over filled with engine oil.

1.5 TDCI uses post-injection DPF regen, so you may get a bit of excess diesel ending up in the oil and increasing the level over months.

If they were recently serviced though, they were probably just filled to max, ran briefly, then topped off and handed back.  Garage mechanics don't have time to leave engines to fully drain down before checking the level.  If you check within a couple of minutes of switching off you'll probably find the level is slightly under max.
