Made this old Kwak machine in less than a week, loved every minute of the build, did my own thing with the kit,
repainted in red instead of blue and did away with a lot of the chroming and added a shorter sports front mudguard.

Any old guys ever had such a machine ?

    Another nice one, Ian. No, lusted after (but never got) a Z900 back then. Had the ZX400Fs distant descendant - a ZXR 400 - much later on.

    A neighbour in the 80's had a blue Z400, his wife wasn't too happy about it, saying just becareful and don't try to kill yourself on it, his first ride out and he nearly killed himself on it, lost it on a bad bend, he didn't talk to his missus for a year after getting out the hospital, he reckoned she'd cursed him and that's why he crashed, not his stupidity though eh.
