Hi There,

I am new to the Ford Owners Club.

I wonder if anyone can help.

We have just completed the build of a Beauford Kit Car. We got an engine built by Gem Engines (2 litre Pinto Engine).

The car has gone for an IVA test with VOSA and they are asking us to produce Documented Proof (on a Ford Letterhead) stating the year of manufacture of the engine.

This is so that they can carry out the proper emmissions test on the car.

Have called Ford and they find this unusual and say can't issue the letter. Help.
