Hi. 

I owe Ford Galaxy 2019 EcoBlue 2.0 TDCi. I have an issue with automatic gearbox. Not changing gears as it should. Is this error code can be involved with this issue?

    That code is only a communication error between modules.

    You need to use FORScan to get the Ford specific DTC's and you will need FORScan if the gearbox needs to go through the relearn procedure.

    Is the car battery in good health and is it fully charged ?

    I visited kwik-fit yesterday to find out about a battery health. However, one of the technicians noticed that the battery wasn't reachable. He checked only charging condition, everything passed. No errors on the diagnostic computer as well, probably because we deleted it previously, as I mentioned in my post about the error code.

    If battery is definitely sound (don't understand "unreachable")...
    Then suggest you read the codes with Forscan and recommended lead when the fault recurs plus any and all TCM/gearbox related codes and live data to see if there is a real problem, what are the exact gear changing problems and when was the oil and filter last changed (yawn, I'm always asking the same boring questions!) And what is the history, where has this problem come from?

    Get yourself a multimeter and test it.

    Did you manage to get this problem sorted as i have the same problem on mine. Any help would be much appreciated.
