How do I get Mondeo Mk4 front undercover relocated?

Hi all,

Hi all, I recently removed the front undertray on my MK4 mondeo to replace the windscreen washer pump, but I'm struggling to get the undertray back into position. There are 4 plastic tabs at the back of the tray that are supposed to go underneath the main plastic cover behind it, but I cant bend the covers enough to get them located. I'm fitting the tray at the front first into the bumper but then cant work out how to get the four tabs underneath the main cover. I've tried bending/forcing the plastic which has resulted in one of the four tabs breaking off.

Is anyone able to advise me on the correct method please?

    The main cover needs to be removed first.  Or at least the front edge.

    Thanks, I realise now it was a dumb question! all I needed to do was undo the two front screws on the rear cover. 🥴
