My first post here!

I have a burning question regarding our car which I need to get off my chest, 

It's in regards to the Plastic cam pulleys fitted as standard to our 2004 1.6 Zetec focus, I'm curious to find out if anyone on here knows whether it is possible to swap them for steel pulleys as used on other 1.6 Zetec engines, 

Reason being the original ones are plastic and 20 years old, the engine is in very good condition with only 100000 miles, as is the car,

I accidentally snapped one last year when replacing the cam belt, and just managed to get a replacement.
