Hi there I have a ford galaxy zetec and a ford galaxy titanium x auto… the gearbox on the titanium x has failed and too expensive to repair so I’ve decided to use it to replace certain stuff in my zetec like the seat’s and the headlights but I’m not sure if the xeonons will work on the zetec in regards to the headlight washers I’ll be replacing the bumper aswell regardless if the lights work or not 

just want your opinion before I start working on it

There's a possibility that it might fail mot if it wasn't made with xenon headlights ( depending on the mot guy obviously ) some will look at it as it has headlights and there working as should or they'll stick to the book it should have the correct type no ifs or buts. Then you will have to look at the drugs if there the same and if the have all the same wiring to work everything. Obviously there's modifications but it's all down to if you know how if there not. Someone else might know a lot more better detail as to the light than l do l thought the ford fusion used the same lights as my transit connect. To look at them yes but to fit nope the mounting brackets are totally different 😂

I think you'll find the plugs don't work.

In theory have to get headlamp levelling working which would be much more of a challenge as it could need looms swapping between vehicles and BCM changes etc

Whether anyone doing an MOT would spot if a car had Xenon’s but no levelling sensors is another matter

If I am correct, you also posted (in another topic) that you want to change all 4 doors.

Changing the doors, bumper, headlights, headlight control module, wiring harnesses, seats, etc. and changing the configuration to get everything working is quite a lot of work.

It may even be easier to put the engine, gearbox and all auxiliaries from the donor vehicle into the Titanium X.

There is MS and HS

Medium Strength and High Strength.

So long as it's the right Canibus it will be fine on the network 😂
