Puma 12v battery low charge

Morning. My Puma was recalled for the fuel line issue and they completed the latest recall for software while it was in. I’ve now got a 12v battery state of low charge warning every time I get in the car. Ford have advised getting a trickle charger to charge it every 4 weeks. I never had this issue in the 14 months before the update. Has anyone else had the issue?

    The battery is low because they have been working on the car,  which is normal..

    As the battery gets older you will need to put it on an overnight change about every 5 to 6 weeks which is also normal for modern cars.
