Door, Heating or Blend actuators

Featured Replies

Hi again,

I have a clicking coming from my dash which sounds like it's coming from the driver's side around where my left knee is.  Has anyone changed any of these actuators?

Now I have a a good search, and watched videos but there is a lot of confusion as to what part is used (amount of pins, cog type, levers etc) and that's what I need help with.  I watched this video and the part they are replacing looks like this

But when I type actuator in on the ford store only this comes up as being compatible

What I've read the Fiesta has 3 actuators, so maybe the store just isn't stocking them all, all 3 are the same or the correct one is actually the one in the first picture?

I have a couple of versions of Ford Etis as well and that's giving me conflicting information, so it's confusing me even more 🤣

Edit:  Sorry there is also this video  and one version of Etis which say you need to line some things up before installing

All 3 will be different.

You need to remove the part from your car and get the part number off it.

Just waiting for one of these to come to make it easier to get it off.  I'll report back when it's off 👍

I handed in the Round Tuit token today and had a look at this actuator 😄

It's the one in the driver's footwell which looks like a right pain to get to, and it has the part number 1S7H-19E616 BC (1768981 on the ford site)

£134 from Ford or £10 off ebay.   Has anyone used these cheap ones?  If they are prone to breaking anyway, I'd rather pay a tenner each time to fix it 🤣

I'd go with the one from eBay, or even a used genuine one.

I'd not be paying £134 !!!

Thanks, ill get one ordered off eBay then.

After reading this thread I'm a little worried about how to get it align properly but we'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Thought I'd throw this in here for anyone doing this in the future, as there isn't much info for RHD's out there on this.

These are taken from Ford Etis.

The pdf attached is the same as the first image above.  You don't need to do what's in the second image, I just added it to show another view of the actuator's location.
