Fiesta mk7 not starting

Featured Replies

Hello.

A friends fiesta has stopped working.

Her dad put some new headlights in and now the car won't start.

Shes had various people round to look at it and everyone's stumped.

Seems to be a crash input issue, not sure how its been triggered or how to get around it.

Can anyone help?

Screenshot uploaded of errors

There was a lot more errors to begin with but ive tried resetting some of the modules and this is whats left.

The car starts then turns off a second later.

Need more info. What year and petrol or diesel ?

Very likely the wire or the connector to the crash sensor at the front of the car has been damaged or disconnected.

Are you referring to the 2 crash sensors behind the bumper?

Yes 👍

Is one disconnected ?

Were either of them disconnected while the headlights were replaced ?
