Ford Kuga mk2 creak

Featured Replies

I have a mystery I have a creaking noise from the drivers seat area when I brake and pull away when it is raining and wet the creak disappears so I assumed it was a dry bush so lubricated every bush with silicone spray didn’t do anything to restore live the creak so has anyone else had this it’s definitely not the seat .

Are you sure it's not you creaking? :goof:

Have you checked the seat is securely bolted to the floor?

Have you lubricated all the movement mechanisms too? Ideally with spray grease?

I have had the seat out and lubricated every pivot with spray grease and sprayed the seat rails as well it’s a strange one I have even lubricated all the bushes underneath the car it doesn’t go away but as soon as as it rains heavy enough the noise goes indicating something underneath the car but what ?
