In that case it uses a single motor, so could be motor or fuse at fault.

The Mk3.5 used two separate motors, so we could rule out the motor if both stopped working at the same time.

The fuses are in the handbook.  If you don't have the handbook, they are available online here: https://www.ford.co.uk/support/owner-manuals

The back wipers work, the front try to work, they do like a second hand of a clock movement like a tick tick tick then stop? If it was the fuse am I right in thinking that id get no movement at all? And thanks for the help my mate

Still worth checking the fuse just in case it's loose or corroded rather than blown.  But yes, 99% of the time a fuse will blow completely so no power at all.

Looks like it should be F69 in the fusebox under the bonnet on a 2018 Mk4.

Sounds like it is the motor that's failed.  (Well, the internal control).  So the next step would be accessing the motor plug to test for voltage to it.  You will probably need to remove the wiper arms and scuttle panel first.

I have vague memories of seeing a few Mk4 wiper motors failed over the years, but didn't want to mention it before as the fuse and wiring etc should be tested before spending money on a new motor.

Can do it yourself with a used part for under £50.  (Plenty on eBay or at scrap yards).

Garage might charge an hours labour, so say an extra £80 for that.

Some garages will only fit brand new parts, that would make it several hundred pounds.

Just a follow up, got the part needed from flebay, when i was about to replace it I noticed that the linkage had rubbed up against the wire loom and severed the main wire. Swapped out the motor anyway, and wagoed the wire back together. I think the last service at the garage maybe moved the wiring for some reason. All done and thanks for the help guys, yous are appreciated ✌️

That was the issue then, not the motor, have you re-secured it out of the way?
