Hi! 

Im wanting to make my 06 Fiesta MK5 5dr look abit sportier and hoping to use second hand Fiesta ST front and rear bumpers 

Would this be possible? I know STs are 3dr so I'm unsure if the body shape will line up with my 5dr.

If failing that, I've looked for some bodykits online but I mainly see splitters

Any help on this would be great thank you!

I believe they fit.

I'm sure I've seen 5 doors with ZS/ST bumpers before.

Likewise. I've seen EBay ads for used bumpers for 3 doors that say "also fit 5 door" and vice versa.

There's probably a thread on this in the Project and Build threads or Modifications section somewhere, but it will be way back by now.

@zain611 did a lot of stuff with his Mk 6 and would probably know, but he's not around much these days - gone BMW iirc!😀

 

Don't you need some extra brackets for the 3 door bumper?  Or perhaps that's Mk7?

Mk 7 had the "spats" which took some ingenuity to fit to a non-ST/ZS car. I imagine there'd be a bit of bodging of fixings required on a swap like this, particularly as the car and any s/h parts are nigh on 20 years old anyway, and you'd be dealing with broken clips, rusty screws/nuts, etc.

(NB I note the OP referred to Mk 5 but assume this is the usual UK one generation ahead thing and it is what we know as a Mk 6.)

Thank you guys!! i got really lucky and picked up front/rear bumper, spoiler and side splitters with all the trim!! 

Im lucky enough to work somewhere with a workshop so im planning on getting these sanded and finished myself! excited to get the experience:) 

edit: Im also pretty sure i have a mk6 not 5 whoops

Yes, you have a MK6 and an 06 is a MK6.5

I'm fairly confident the side skirts won't fit I'm afraid

Got some other goodies that I'll have to sell, eg 3dr tail lights, potentially the spoiler and power steering cables?? Idk the guy just gave me the lot

Not sure what you mean by PAS pipes but they should fit, providing same PAS pump position

Yes, as Dave mentions it would be a Mk 6 facelift (aka Mk 6.5) here. Do watch out for that in ads for parts as there is some confusion caused by the UK being out of step with some other countries.

(Basically when the Mk 4 was facelifted in 1999 to bring the styling more into line with the Focus, in the UK it became known as the Mk 5, and we've been one "Mk" ahead ever since!😀).

Yeah Its possible, It'll just slightly cover the top of the tail lights and I'll most likely need to drill my own mount holes into the body

I was thinking of finding a smaller one as im not sure I want one that big - something like this!

omg that makes so much more sense, I've been unsure when looking at parts!!
