waning light coming on and coming in and out of limp mode

Hi I’ve recently had coming on a red warning light and an orange cog with the I in the middle. My fiesta a 1.4 diesal tdci has been going into limp mode then it goes off been happing quite regular has anybody had the same issues before I put it in the garage would just like to see if it’s an easy fix any help would be much appreciated

The first thing everyone will ask is "what are the DTC's read using FORScan ?" Without the Ford diagnostic codes it would be a pure guessing game.
