Wheels

Featured Replies

Hi I have a ford focus estate diesel 2014 right now it has a standard steel wheels 16" on it What I was wondering is it possible for me to put 18"x 8.5 alloys on the car without having to do any modification to the steering so it doesn't rub on the body when I turn hard left or hard right What's me best way around it as the wheels I have found what I really like are that size Any help really appreciate it Thank you in advance

Hi Stephen, welcome.

You should really post Focus questions in the Focus forum.

As well as the wheel diameter and width, the other factor is offset: you might find this thread helpful:

Steering rack limiters.

They're fitted as standard to cars that came with 18" alloys from the factory.  Cheap to buy direct from Ford still.

But might get away without - as Wilco's comments in the thread I linked?
