Problem with Fiesta tyre pressures

I have a 2022 Fiesta ST-line X edition ecoboost 155 MHEV.  The sticker inside the passenger door says that the tyre pressure should be 30 front and 26 back. However, when I start the car, the scarywarning flashes up to say that these pressures (which it CONFIRMS are 30 and 26) are too low! Why is it doing this?

Because it's Halloween !!  😲

Or the other probable answer is because you have not reset the TPMS after inflating the tyres 🤔

Yes, that's the correct procedure. Oddly, though, I've never needed to do the reset procedure on either of my Mk 8/8.5 Fiestas, though I check and adjust tyre pressures frequently.

Incidentally, are you sure you read the label correctly? Afaik a 2022 ST-Line X will have 205/40R18, see below:
