Suspected door module/ microswitch fault

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I have an issue with my 06 focus.  I'm completely stuck so hoping for some help.  The passenger front door is locked and I'm unable to unlock or open it.  I have the 'door open' message on the dash.  The door is completely dead, no power to speaker, window, mirror or lock.  I checked the door module fuse and it had blown.  Have replaced it but the door is still dead (no power)

The problem  I have is that the door is locked shut so I can't get the door card off to replace the latch!  Any ideas?  How can I manually unlock the door? im starting to think my only option is to cut a large hole in the card.....
