Focus tilt

Featured Replies

Recently acquired Ford Focus which drives fine but have noticed on looking at car sideways on the front slopes down from the back. Is that a problem thanks?

It isn't clear to me what this means. A photo would help.

As mentioned a photo would be helpful to be able to tell you but it could be that someone dropped the front end so it lower.. although l wouldn't see any benefit of just the front alone on the focus as they hold quite well already, l dropped the front on my escort but that wasn't intentional it happened by accident ( l had the front and rear lowering shockers, the front original broke so swapped the front drove it n found it handled better and it stops the front lower arms giving out ) the focus suffers non of this so could be that they just like the look of it..

That's how they were designed to "sit" by Ford. Your question is raised on occasions on the Focus ST forum, people ask whether the car should sit "level" but that is NOT the case. If you make it sit level it will be detrimental to the handling etc

Never thought of it like that 😂 took that photo for reference of how low it had gone from original. Not even sure the green 1 still exist 🤷‍♂️.
