Ford fusion stalling after cam belt change

Featured Replies

Hi!

I bought a  10 plate 1.4l petrol fusion and put it in for the cam belt to be changed. When he took it apart the old belt was half a tooth out he said. After the new timing was done it now stalls sometimes when coming to a stop.  It was re checked and the timing was right. I've replaced the plugs, throttle body( programmed) checked for air/ vacuum leaks, and replaced both cam and crank sensors.  I've also noticed there is slight vibration from the engine when idling which wasn't there before, ( which makes no sense as it was out of time before?)

Can it be out of timing elsewhere even if the belt is in the correct place?.

My son is an apprentice elsewhere and says there couod be a misalignment behind the bolts??

Anyone any clue?

Thanks in advance
