Hi All,

Focus tdci 2.0 2007 clicking on starter & out of ideas so any pointers appreciated 👍.....swopped out for a replacement used item both this & the original bench test ok having stripped one to check components & clean carbon build etc....also ran a jumper direct to the battery which spun but not convincingly.....also removed the relay which having checked is operating ok....having said all the above this has just had a replacement clutch fitted & stood prior for 18 months ...

    Weak battery, and possibly bad ground, a weak battery (if a cell has collapsed) won't have enough guts to start a car even with a jump pack
