i think these engines have a small problem , the timing chain can stretch prematurely.

i have a c max 160000 km the timing chain is still good

That is an amazing distance that hat had done I'm surprised very much that it's still on the road at that.. usually the tdci is well gone before that. I know the bigger power audi engines are meant to have that problem but I'd imagine it depends on the driver as to how long it would last.

thankyou for your answer, yes i know that 160000 are a little bit too much.i always worked under this car, i mean to change oil / oil filter each year, the other filters also, the last replace i done was the V-belt it was not easy. i would like to drive this car a little bit more before to buy another one.

If you've got it that far I'd stick with it man, unless obviously you need something bigger it's definitely worth keeping even at that milage if your just looking at the same size.. better the devil you know rather than taking the chance of buying someone else's headache.

i think i'll keep this car, certainly, not for too long because there will always be something to replace. this will cost more than the price of the car itself

But chances are it's only going to be bits that you haven't done or have a slight problem during production and aren't noticeable. The next vehicle could cost way above its value hence the saying ( better the devil you know / when you buy second hand you buy someone else's headache ) 😂 but the choice is yours to make in the end 😎👍

It's not a problem at all, there would be no point in having a question section if nobody answered them. I hope all goes well with it even though I don't like them personally but saying that l don't like the big bulbus headlights on the mk7 transit. But l bought a little van withe same type of headlights 😂 n have come to like it ( apart from the fact of having to pay nearly £20 for actual bulbs n not bulbs that candles could put to shame 😂😂😂
