2011 MK6 Fiesta Zetec - inner side panel removal

Featured Replies

I'm trying to install a dashcam into my car, but for the life of me I cannot remove this side panel:

I was told it should just pop off with a plastic pry tool, but it is not budging. Any tips?

Yes, the whole end pulls/pries off. It's held on with several metal clips that go into the rectangular holes shown in the photo below where the end panel has been removed. The photo is from a Puma but the Fiesta is very similar. If this is the first time that the panel has been off it is likely to be pretty stiff, especially in this cold weather.

Get it nice and hot with a hair dryer. As @pcaouolte has said it will just pull off.

PS. A Fiesta 2011 is a Mk7
