Coolant bubbling in tank

Featured Replies

Hello,

I bought a 54 plate focus 57k on the clock a months ago. The coolant is bubbling but only when the engine is switched off. It doesn't appear to overheat whist driving. They and i have done a sniff test which was fine and they have replaced the waterpump, thermostat and temperature sensor but still no luck. Any ideas?

I havent noticed the fan come on how can I test it. It works when the A/C is on though...

Forgot to add its had a new coolant tank and cap too allthough non genuine. (Have bought a genuine one to try it tomorrow)

Thank you for your help!

I'd recommend reposting your question in the FOCUS forum. You will probably get more replies.
