Focus 2024 V 2025

Featured Replies

I've been looking at a Focus on the official website.

I configured it, and expected it to be the very latest model. But in the summary at the end it said 2024.5.

I know that means it was built in the middle of last year. But I would have expected it to be 2025.5, or 2025.75.

It seemed to be full price.

Were there any changes between last year and this year please?

Yes, Ford stopped making the Focus this year.

You can only choose from cars that are already built. If the configuration you chose has a 2024.5 built car available that's what they can sell you.

Thank you pcaouolte.

So I guess the plate will be 75?

The plate is based on registration date, not build date.

So even if a car is built today, it would be 26 plate if registered on March 1st next year.

If you register any car between now and March 1st, then that will be a 75 plate.

I’ve got another question please, that doesn’t seem worth starting a new topic for.

Instead of me visiting a dealer, and sitting in both vehicles, is there anyone out there that can please confirm if the Puma seat height (nothing to do with the fact they go up and down) is higher than the Focus?   🤔

I know the overall height of the Puma (roof) is higher, but I really need to know if when both seats are at their lowest point, are they both the same height?

At 6ft 4” tall, I need the seat to be at its lowest point, and the steering wheel at its highest, to make getting in and out and driving easier.

With getting older, my knees are not the best, so getting out of a low car is also not ideal.  😂

Many thanks for any replies and information you can share.   😎

Same height relative to the road or same height relative to the headlining? I can measure the Puma seat at its lowest point if I know what measurement you are looking for.

Puma is alot easier to get in and out of compared to focus. Was only saying about it at work on Friday when I was getting out of new  focus. I'm 6ft 2in.

Thanks for the replies, but it's too late now.

I ordered a new Focus last Saturday.

My old legs may not forgive me though!  🤪 😂
