Sync software update issue

Hi

 

I have tried to download the new sync files from the ford website so that i canupdate the sync software and get the van ready for the map update. I ha e followed the instructions ie i used a new 32gb usb which informatted to ex fat. I downloaded the files and unzipped them on to the usb. I made sure the folder and the two files was in the root directory as needed. Plugged it into the van and it said downloading new software. After it downloades it asked me if i wanted to intall the files i sais yes of course only to vet an error message which from what i understand is a corrupted file.

 

I have done this now several times and still get the same error

 How do i correct this?

    I have managed to get the sync 3.3 update via the wifi. How do i get the map updates as when i put in the vin number vis the ford website it is still.saying its on version 3.2 and wont let me download the map update

     

    How long does ot take for ford to recognise the sync system is updated soni can download the map update? Can this also be done via the wifi? If so how?
