Timing belt plastic cover

Featured Replies

Does anyone have a link or a part number or name for the small plastic bracket that carries 2 looms, that bolts to the timing cover with one bolt and an integral clip that goes through the cover.

The clip has snapped, the part is secure and I'm sure I don't need to worry about replacing it, but I cant seem to find one anywhere in case i do need to replace? Its a mark 3, 1.6tdci 2013

Is this the part you mean? I got the engine photo from an ebay listing.

You may find one at a breakers if there are any near you.

Yes thats the one, it seems secure though despite the clip being broken

Unfortunately I couldn't find it on the online parts catalogue.

There may be a visible part number moulded into the plastic somewhere.

Those are fuel pipes, not wiring looms.

This could be it.

The design may have been changed since your car was built.

Could you remove the broken clip and replace it with a tie-wrap?
