Ford focus 2013/mk3 aerial query

Featured Replies

Hi,

If anyone can help, if be eternally grateful.

I'm trying to install a new android head unit, replacing an aging Boison model.

I'm having problems with the aerial not working as it should, with both dab and fm stations.

I've got the black fakra connector plugged into the aerial splitter, and the white fakra connector plugged into a phantom power supply. The splitter then feeds a din plug to the fm radio, and the sma lead connected to the dab tuner, but I get no difference between having no aerial connected and having it disconnected. Both splitter and amplifier are connected to the same 12v power source, and splitter has an led to confirm it's powered.

With the boison radio, I only needed the splitter and both sources worked well in the same car.

Thanks for looking

Tony
