Error code for HCM

Featured Replies

Hi

My 2019 Vignale Focus has adaptive LED headlights. I know some people don't like them, but I think they are great and have worked flawlessly. However, whenever I connect Forscan I get 2 errors for HCM. They always clear when I select reset DTCs, but are there the next time I connect

B14DB left headlamp driver control system. Additional fault symptom 87, and

B14DC right headlamp driver control system. Additional fault symptom 87

Today I thought I'd try headlamp alignment and calibration. But every time I get "Unable to gain access, service procedure failed"

Any ideas?

Thanks

Gary

HCM module very possibly just requires a software update. I feel like I have seen a similar post before and fix was an update.

I'll try that. Thank you
