Carrying on from the chat in the Puma thread I inadvertently posted in.

I've just been having a quick scan of the Focus up-to-date price list, and I saw these.

Ford Performance Valve Caps, black/red 2308111.

So I googled it, and I came to the Ford eBay shop. I've never visited this site before, always using their normal site.

It went straight to them, so I thought "I'll have some of those." When it asked me to fill in my car details above, to see if they would fit my car, I thought, they'll fit any car won't they?

I mean, we're talking about a set of dust caps.

Imagine my surprise, when once I'd filled my car details in, (my reg isn't on any systems yet) it said This item doesn't fit!

So I clicked below, where it says "find parts that will fit, and it took ,me to Wheel Spacers, Adapters & Spigot Rings!

WTAF?

Is the world going mad, or is it just the website being stupid?   😂

    I do believe that the ebay shop is 1 of there where house parts places like if you went to ford it's self, it possible that who ever is meant to fill all the parts out that says yep it'll fit yours obviously hasn't taken the time to do that as they probably thought the caps fit all makes.. as to your reg I've had it before with a previous vehicle where ebay system couldn't register couldn't find it.

    If you have any queries about it just ring ford parts n give them the part number n they confirm it for you.

    For reference, my car reg isn't on any website yet, including Gov.UK.

    I'm sure it will be by next week.

    I might get a couple of sets and some go faster stripes and shave a couple of seconds off 🎉

    According to the site they fit over 3,000 different model variations so I'm sure they'd fit a Focus.

    Mmmm, not sure but they are red which is always faster. According to the site they're going so fast there's only 5 sets left.😀
