‘Engine Service Now’

Featured Replies

Hi all, wonder if anybody can help please?

I have a Ford Focus 2015 MK3, when I go I’m accelerating into 2nd or 3rd gear then a message comes up saying ‘Service engine now’.

I’ve run a diagnostic test and it says

’control module configuration incompatible’

and on an engine test it says

‘turbocharger boost control position sensor ‘A’ performance-stuck low’

Does anybody know what this means please?

Thanks.

Probably caused by your generic code reader not understanding Ford specific DTC's

As it sounds. The turbo actuator is possibly sticking.

You really need to use FORScan and get the full Ford specific DTC's.
