Keyless entry/locking still only working on drivers door

Featured Replies

Hi guys hoping you can help.

I noticed the keyless entry/locking only working on drivers door so I guessed battery naybe a little low as I only do shortish trips. Its happened before and I had the battery replaced about a year or two ago and then was working fine. Now it's happening again so I decided to charge it up in situ . Connected positive to positive and negative to the chassis point using a ctek mxs 5 charger. It charged and went to green at stage 7, so I unplugged it took it for a short drive and no change still only driver door. Any thoughts?

Anyone, any ideas? Settings on dash are set for all doors to open.

Battery 'State Of Charge' is still too low. Put the battery back on charge for a FULL 12 hours. If the problem continues after that then it's time to replace the battery.

The locking system will only update it's status once the battery is fully charged and the vehicle has been left for at least an hour.

Ok I will try the charger for longer. I just assumed that if the charger said it was full at stage 7 it would be ok but it was only on charge for about 6 hours.

I had this last winter. Need to keep the 12v battery charged 1 way or another. When driving make sure not to coast or free wheel.
