Advice on purchasing

I am try to find the latest focus 1.6 with cam belt rather than wet belt.

Thank you in advance colin

I'm following this with interest...

None of the 1.6s ever had a wetbelt, so you can take your pick.

1.6 Ti-VCT

1.6 EcoBoost (turbo petrol)

1.6 DuraTorq (turbo diesel)

All of these were only available until approximately 2015 though.

After that the two turbo engines were slightly downsized to 1.5 instead, but they still kept the dry belt.  The 1.5s were available up to 2018 when the Mk4 Focus was released.

The 1.6 Ti-VCT wasn't replaced as it only made the same power as the 1.0 EcoBoost, so new buyers were expected to chose the 1.0 instead.
