Mk2 with dark blue half leather seats

Featured Replies

I have seen an early Mk2 Titanium hatchback at a breakers with these seats.

It also has beige/light grey door cards and beige carpet.

I have never seen this combination on any Mk2 I have seen for sale online or at a breakers.

It must have been one that someone had built new to their options.

Those interior parts must be rare now.

I'd say seats swapped by the previous, blind, owner

I've never understood beige carpet in cars.  Surely it gets immediately dirty the moment you get in?

Not quite so bad in a house as you can keep a door mat just outside.  That doesn't really work with a car!

I do have an early Mk2 brochure and it looks like beige was the only option available with blue seats in the Titanium (either full leather or half leather).  Though they didn't call it beige of course, it's 'medium light stone'.

At one time we had a Rover 600 in BRG with beige interior. I found it much nicer than the sombre blacks and dark greys that we seem to be lumbered with these days. You might be surprised to find that beige carpeting doesn't show the dirt as badly as black.

It reminded me of my '69 Mini 1000 which was also green with beige interior and was the only car I've ever bought brand new.

I would love a nice chocolate brown or aubergine Triumph Stag with beige interior

I used to have an Aubergine Ford Orion with a charcoal grey & black interior.

Beige is not something I'd consider but it is way better than the 'Tan' interior that many American car's often seem to have.

The blue/beige Focus MK2 interior is quite rare. Through the Years I have only seen this interior combination a few times.

This interior combination should also have the two-tone dashboard. Dark blue at the top and beige at the bottom. The dark blue storage compartment on top of the dashboard is extremely rare and has no longer been available for many Years.

Thanks for the replies.

It would be interesting to know how many of each trim level and colour combination were sold.

Studio (the very lowest level) must be the rarest. I don't think I have ever seen one.
