Hi thinking of getting a focus 1.0 ecoboost 2016 been looking it up and has wet belt issues and temperature issues has anyone had any problems with that or if well maintained will it be a good car to have 

If it hasn't had it done, it needs the wet belts changing now. Budget for around £1,000+

If it has had the belts changed, was it done properly.

Cooling issues were sorted by 2016, unless abused

I, personally, would not buy a car with wet belts

I take it you haven't had chance to read the many wet belt threads on here, yet?

Id buy a grenade with the pin already pulled out before a wet belt car.

 

take it coming from someone that has to do these belts almost daily for people. 

 

they say theres a person born every minute, and one dies every minute, well wet belts snap inbetween those every minutes.. 😂

 

im laughing on the outside, but literally crying on the inside with these things.
