Time to change tpms?

Super annoyed after buying some more sensors with the correct part numbers they turned out be problematic! The garage was not able to programme them but now I have another issue the lights inside seem to be staying on and the light in the boot is coming on and off... Think this is something to do with failed tpms configuration?

I have pasted the DTC codes from forscan. The garage said they can get another scanner next week but at this rate actually considering going to Ford.

===BdyCM DTC B1182:55-8A===
Code: B1182 - Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Additional Fault Symptom (:55):
 - Not Configured

Status (-8A):
 - DTC Present at Time of Request
 - Malfunction Indicator Lamp is On for this DTC

Module: Body Control Module

===END BdyCM DTC B1182:55-8A===

===BdyCM DTC B1255:51-48===
Code: B1255 - Left Rear (Outside On Duel Wheel) Tire Pressure Sensor and Transmitter Assembly

Additional Fault Symptom (:51):
 - Not Programmed

Status (-48):
 - Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request
 - Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC
 - Test not complete

Module: Body Control Module

===END BdyCM DTC B1255:51-48===

Forgot to mention when using the grey relearn tool I actually got the front left tyre to detect/learn and it honked the horn but that was the only one and never got it to do it again.

did you try any other sensors from the batch to get the horn working.

assuming you have fitted the sensors in already. if so put the car back into relearn and the take air out of esch sensors one by one. that should trigger the sensors. you need discharge about 5psi for it to trigger but on some copy ones sightly more.

Yep tried the others but could only get one to beep also tried the releasing air trick from 40psi down to 25psi it didn't work.

I think the problem is now I have malfunction error. My car is due a recall at ford so might see if I can book that in and get them to look at sensors at same time.

Or get these which should come coded and just need the relearner tool https://www.mlperformance.co.uk/products/schrader-schr3023-tyre-pressure-monitoring-system-wheel-sensor?variant=54914675245439

Warning to everyone else don't buy cheap sensors from ebay even if they have British Flag they are all Chinese copies that don't work. Have had 3 different coding tools have a go and none of worked with them.

I take it all back, went to another tyre shop and the fixed and coded them within 5mins and only charged me £15

British flag usually means shipped from UK. Not manufactured here. Though I doubt the genuine sensors are made here anyway.

Best to check the feedback from other buyers. That usually tells you if others have had problems with the same sensors.

The issue is lack of support / no meaningful way to figure out what you have bought. Lesson learnt but never again.

All fixed - I take it all back, went to another tyre shop and the fixed and coded them within 5mins and only charged me £15 exact same machine but he obviously knows how to use it 😂

Everything work as expected now
