I would like to know the value of my car. I had a minor accident where someone hit the side of me at low speed. There insurance company wants me to settle with them as a cash settlement. They have valued at £800 it is a festa 2011 titanium in hot magenta , it has 193k on the clock and in was in good condition.  don’t know if this a good valuation or not. If someone could help it’ll be much appreciated. Thanks.

Duplicates can only be deleted by mods.

Threads in the wrong place can only be moved by mods.

Personally I don't see the point of asking members to post duplicates when the first thread is in the wrong place.  That's not reducing the mods workload at all.  They might just as well wait to be moved.

However, I'm not sure which mods, if any, are still active daily on here now anyway.

Yes, the "Guides" thing is very confusing now.  It was fairly obvious what it was for at one time, as it contained nothing but the intended Guides. Now it is so full of queries from new members (presumably thinking it means somewhere to ask for "Guidance") it is virtually pointless. Most "Guides" these days get posted on You Tube anyway.

Indeed.  Though I don't blame them.  People's lives and circumstances change.  If they no longer want (or have time) to moderate this forum, that's perfectly understandable.

Perhaps a couple of new mods could be selected from current regular forum users.

It's not for me though.  I don't need the stress or responsibility of a proper role.  I'm content just being a standard member.
