Sync 3

Hi all. 

So fitted a sync 3 to my 2015 focus ST. Issues are. 

* screen is dim once booted up. Ignition off goes to full brightness.

* no steering wheel controls. 

* climate on the sync 3 doesn't work. 

* no lights on the volume, search control etc. 

* Reversing display doesn't show showing distance in colours I.e green, to red. 

 

Am I right in thinking the APIM needs programming to my car, this sync 3 is out of a mondeo. If so can anyone give any advice on how to do this. Via FORscan.
