Oil in hole between turbo and maf sensor

Hi anyone have any idea my car goes into limp mode after service light comes on only every so often so I took sensor out and cleaned with maf spray also took hole off between turbo and maf sensor and it had oil in there in the swirl grooves. After turning car off when service light comes on then back on it doesn't come back on for days or weeks depending if I dont boot it

Ford focus mk3 st line 17 plate only 65000 miles on clock.

    Hi,

    Oil in the pipe from air box to turbo is perfectly normal. It comes from the oil breather pipe about half way along.

    The 'engine service now' warning means that Ford specific fault codes have been triggered. You need the fault codes read to avoid wasting time and money on unnecessary parts.

    You can either have a Ford dealership diagnosis for around £160 or get Forscan to use yourself with a phone or laptop. Once you have the codes we can advise further.

    Maybe 10 years ago... It does vary across the country, but even up North I doubt it'll be double digits nowadays.
