Mk 3 ka+, 2019 year, Tailgate struts

Featured Replies

Hello. Does anyone know if the Ford Ka+ 5dr year 2019 share the same rear tailgate struts as another Ford?.(519 mm full extension 335Nm, 200 mm stroke.) It was suggested mk 6 or 7 fiesta. But these are 30 mm longer and may cause the tailgate make contact with the hinges.

Done some research, drawn a blank so far.

Looking to upgrade.

Looks like the part number is unique to Ka+ only.

Boot struts are fairly standard across all cars, so you'll probably find some from another manufacturers model with a similar size tailgate will be closer in length than using some from another Ford model.

True. Google wasn't much help when it came to other makes with the same extended length and fitment.
