Focus Mk3 rear calliper bolts torque values

Featured Replies

Hi I have a 2013 focus Zetec S 1.6D looking for the torque value for the caliper carrier bolts. This is for the rear calliper .

35 Nm for the caliper bracket bolts.
28 Nm for the sliding pins.

Thanks for your reply. 35Nm seems a little on the low side given the slide pins are 28Nm

Information comes directly from Etis.

Sorry for my ignorance, does that pic show the slide pin bolts and the relevant torque ? Not the bolts the hold the carrier bracket onto the hub . What is Etis ?

Etis is the Ford workshop manual software. At least it was until Ford decided to discontinue Etis.

I Took a closer look and see that there is an error in Etis regarding the rear brakes of the Focus MK3. Part of the information is missing and the incorrect torque value is shown.

See the MK3.5 information below.

Since the MK3 has the exact same rear brakes as the MK3 this should also be correct for the MK3.

Ahh thanks for taking the time to have a closer look and give me this information. Really appreciate it 70 Nm sound more like it.

Bit of an uncharacteristic slip-up for you, Wilco 🙂

I do realise you meant the Mk3 has the same brakes as the Mk3.5.
