Focus mk2.5 aerial upgrades

My Focus has got the standard Ford aerial mast and it’s looking tatty where it screws into the base - rubber sitting etc probably the second one I’ve had this happen to now.

My car has the DAB base routed to an aftermarket head unit so I’m not sure if the mast also needs to match for the DAB still to work?

In the past I’ve tried the Richbrook stubby mast plus borrowed similar off a later model Fiesta to try but in both cases the FM reception suffered in comparison. May not have checked DAB at the time as my previous aftermarket head unit wasn’t DAB capable.

Are there any alternatives that are also a bit better looking/shorter without losing FM reception?
