Anyone successfully installed android media unit in MK1?

I'm always toying with the idea of buying one of those aftermarket android-based media unit with a big shiny screen but not sure if any of them are simply plug & play.

Ideally I'd like the media buttons on the steering wheel to still work and eventually hook up a rear camera to it which should be simple enough.

Has anyone actually installed one where everything thing works by simply plugging things in whether additional looms are purchased separately etc?

Any links to any products would be helpful.
