    Do ford around this year do a chain version i did think the durtek was chain seems im wrong

    is it an easy job doing belt like the 1560cc peugeot and citroen diesel?

    None of the Mk3 (2010-2018) Focus engines use a chain except the 2.0 petrol in the ST.

    Duratec is just a brand name that covers many different engine families fitted to Fords over the years. Some of the older Duratec engines were chain, but they were only fitted in Mk2 Focus up to 2010.

    Yes, this 1.5 TDCI engine is basically the same as the earlier 1.6 TDCI in terms of the belt change.
