Electics Problems

Featured Replies

Hi there!!

I am new to this site today but was hoping someone would be able to shed some light on the problems i am having with my rear breaking lights and passenger door.

I recently took my 56 plate S Max into my local Ford dealer as I am constant replacing breaking bulbs as all three refuse to work at the same time!! My rear wiper worked very seldom and the front passenger door also seldom works!!

Ford charged me £346 to tell me they replaced the motor on the rear wiper and that they could not find a fault with the electrics or lights and therefore i must be using sub standard bulbs. I politely informed them that if thats the case then they are supplying me them if they care to check my ordering history! Surprisingly they could not answer me!!

They also quoted on the bill £377 to replace the motor in the passenger front door as they will need to break all the door casing inside to get the door open!! Is this right??

I am so frustrated with Ford as I feel they are completely taking the mick out of me!!

Has anyone else experienced any of these problems??

Thank you

Sara
