Service question

Hi

Does anyone know if the Ford essentials service includes an oil/filter change?

I normally have my car serviced at a Ford garage as it’s convenient for me being up the road despite the price being a bit more costly compared to independent garages.

I was going to go for standard Ford minor service but not sure if that includes an oil change or not? My car is a 2019 fiesta so it is old enough to have the Ford essential service now I think, but I always like to have an oil change every year despite Ford stating every 2 years.

I doubt it, but it probably includes fetching the sandwiches in it though.

If in doubt ask what they're going to do😁 (they don't know that either)

Yes. That's the main part of the Essential Service.

The scheduled service for your car only includes an oil change every 2 years.

Thanks I can never find the details for what’s included in the services!

I had a feeling the essential service must include it because it’s classed as a standard service like any other garage so surely it would do, and that’s the case.

I think it’s better I just go for that service when I go, I booked online and selected minor service I think, but I can change it when I’m there.

I always liked getting the AA breakdown cover included though. What do breakdown cover do you lot go with? It’s so expensive looking on AA/RAC websites!

I've only had bad experiences with AA & RAC so wouldn't go with them even if it was free.

I used StartRescue for a few years, very well priced and good service on paper, but never actually had to call them so can't really recommend them. There are other similar companies about, always worth checking reviews online, though I don't trust those 100% either.

I like how the "scheduled service" includes software updates👍🏻

😆😆😆😆

They don't even plug in
